Frequently Asked Questions
What can a professional organizer do for me?
Nancy has over 20 years of experience, Compassion, creativity, and a good sense of humor and she can assist you in your areas of need. Workshops are available if you would like to start there. Hands-ons or telephone support is also available. What does a professional organizer do? It would be easy to say, “Go away and when you come back it will be organized.” But what have you learned and how will you be able to maintain that type of system. That system might work well for Nancy, but not for you! A professional organizer develops a system that works for you, not her. In addition, she keeps you on track with the goal that you want to accomplish and stay focus. In addition, professional organizers are aware of lots of organizing tools that are available for their clients. One size fits all does not work for clients. Some clients like color coding. Others become confused with too many colors and choices (which are you). You may also have read a book on how to get organized before. Yet, you still need help getting organized. That what a professional organizer can do. You will notice that Nancy will be looking at my watch. Don’t let that upset you. Nancy will be your pace keeper. There will be times when a task may be taking a little long and I’ll encourage you to pick up the pace. There will be times when we are nearing the end of the session and we want to decide what quick project we could attack. One of her jobs is clock watcher. How long will it take to get organized? This is not a get fixed quick television program. You will be working with Nancy, side by side. She will be setting up systems designed to work specifically for you and your style. Are you able to make quick decisions, or are you wanting to ponder the decision, talk about where the items came from and the memories of each item. |

How long has the build-up of clutter taken? No, it won’t take that long to un-clutter it, but it won’t happen overnight.
Nancy has a very gentle approach when working with clients.
